We are searching for a Developer - Implementations, to join a Healthcare Payment business in Ohio.

SALARY

$60,000 - $80,000 + bonus and 'best-in-class' healthcare


REPORTS TO

Implementations Manager


ROLE PURPOSE


The Implementations Developer is responsible for full life cycle support to the production environment and development efforts for software extensions, alterations and new features for existing and new product lines for payment/claims interfaces.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provide full life cycle support for code changes in the production environment and development of new extensions to existing platform.

  • Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to trouble shoot challenging data centric problems.

  • Analyze business requirements and scope of programming tasks.

  • Maintain a high proficiency level with system architectures and database system models.

  • Contribute to a nimble and responsive application development organization.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 7 years of experience in the IT industry.

  • Agile development methodology.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server including ability to analyze complex stored procedures.

  • Extensive experience converting data from a wide variety of systems and file formats

  • Microsoft Development technologies such as C#, SQL, SSRS, AzureDevOps/TFS.

  • Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, and issue resolution.

  • An ability to work independently in solving business problems.

  • Industry experience in group health insurance, workers compensation, third party administrators (TPA), or professional benefit administrators.

  • Experience working with off shore teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Healthcare EDI standards such as 835s.

  • Job scheduling tools.

  • VMware.

  • Crystal Reports.

  • Automated testing tools.

  • ETL tools for data mapping.


WORKING CONDITIONS


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
